Making Your Own File Server
To make your own File Server, you need to use mIRC; SysReset, because mIRC; Basic is not capable
of using that. Here, I will give you the instructions to making your own fserver, allowing people
to download anime from you, earning the greatness of RESPECT! XD
-= Requirements =-
1. mIRC; SysReset Software Running
2. A folder that contains the anime you want to share with other
-= Instructions / Setting Up =-
1. Click on SysReset on the top, then click on File Server Manager. Go To File Server Triggers.
2. Click On "Add" to add a trigger. Type in someone on the text, like "Anime Download". Then you press
"OK", after that, you Will See A Window Popping Up. Click
On Cancel, Then Another Window Will pop up, Click on the location Where The Files That you
Want to Serve are... And Click "OK."
3. Then Go To Server Config... There you Will See Ad Delay (min):Set The Minutes more than 120
minutes because it gets really annoying if you dont. It is highly recommended that you disable this.
Ad Displays are usually only for voicing.
4. Under Force Close you will see max users... Choose The Maximum Users you want acessing your fserver
at a time. Then beside that there is Slot Display: put it as "normal".
5. Under That There Is File Server Ad Message... Type the message that tells everybody what
is in your file server. It is like a little description for your fserver.
6. On The Right Of Server Config there is Basic Options... Under That There Is Max Sends
And Max Queues... Choose The Options That you Want... And Check On Queues Enabled. Max Sends
is how many sends you want going on at the same time, while Max Queues is how many queues you
want to allow to have.
7. Back to BASIC OPTIONS CHANGE THAT TO ADVANCED OPTIONS.
8. There you Will See New Stuff... go to Color Configuration and choose the color of you file server.
9. Under That There Is Advanced File Server. Check The Last 2 Things.
10. Then Go To Advanced Settings.... Check The First One, uncheck the 2nd and the 3rd. Check
The Rest After That.
11. Under there, there is event reporting.... put it at 6 - Advanced Information.
12. On The Right you Will See Stats Gathering: CHECK EVERYTHING!!!
13. THEN you click on done cuz we Are finished... But not yet!!
14. Now Go To Sysreset.. And Click on Addon Manager. Highlight everything and click on
LOAD...(Except qscript cuz it wont work for some reason)... Click on DONE.
15. Go To SysReset AGAIN >> Servers Active >> Click ON
16. NOW Go To The Channel Where you are on... Right-Click on the channel... then go down and you
will see Force Advertize >> And Click On Fserve[This Chan] and ur file server will appear and you
SHOULD get voiced.
