How To Install and Use mIRC (SysReset)
First, you will have to download one of the mIRC softwares above. It is recommended that you
download the Sysreset version, because the instructions below come from that version of the mIRC
software.
How to Install mIRC; Sysreset
1. Run the install application/program; run "sysreset253.exe"
2. On the Sysreset License Information, click on "Accept"
3. It should have already chose the location to install to, so click "Install"
4. Now, go to: "START" > "PROGRAMS" > "SysReset" > "SysReset.exe"
5. Or you could run the program from where it was installed into
6. Now run the Program!
How to Use mIRC; Sysreset
1. If this is the first time you are running the program, it should bring you to a screen that
looks like the one below:
2. Fill in the blanks with:
-Full Name: (Your Full Name Here)
-Email Address: (Your Email Address Goes Here)
-Nickname: (The nickname that you will be using and for others to view)
-Alternative: (Your sub nickname just in case your nickname is already being used)
3. Click on "Servers" below "Connect" on the same windows
4. Click on "ADD" below "IRC Server"
5. Fill in the blanks with:
-Description: irc.blitzed.org
-IRC Server: irc.blitzed.org
-Port(s): 6667
-Group: Blitzed
6. Then click on "ADD" and the server should be shown there now
7. Then click on "Connect To Server"
8. On the top, click on "Favorites" the "Add to Favorites"
9. Fill in the blanks with these:
-Channel: #AnimeSpiritZ
-Description: (anything you want to write here)
-Networks: Blitzed (if not there already, click on "ADD" then select "Blitzed" on that list, then click on "OK"
10. Below Options on the same box, check the box that says "Join on Connect" then click "OK"
11. Go to the top where it says "Tools" then click on "Options..."
12. Click on "Server" below "DCC"
13. Check the box where it says "Enable DCC Server" then click on "OK"
14. Now, close the program and wait for a while, and it should automatically bring you to our
channel, if not, please send us an email asking us!
