What's Chobits About?
Chobits is about a person called Hideki, a 19-year-old average man. One day, he's walking home on his way from work, taking the same route that he always does.
But this time, on his way back passing the dumsters, he encounters a persocom wrapped up and trown away in the trash. At first, he thought that it was a real women, but
thanks to those ears, he identified it as a persocom. When he takes it home and turns it on, it seems like as if this persocom can say nothing but "chii." Hideki names her Chi
because that's all she could say after he found her, and it seems cute to him too. But after she was taken home to Hideki, he finds that this persocom may be more advanced than the
way she seems(a childlike behavior), and it could also be a POSSIBLE Chobit!

What's A Chobits:
Chobits are computers of legend. This technology surpasses the invention of persocoms. Persocoms are shaped like androids, but works only by the way that they are programed to do. While Chobits on the other hand, are powerful models that has ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCES, able to think and act on their own.

There are in total of 8 manga volumes released for chobits. They have been registered in english by TOKYOPOP! They also have the manga in japanese, but not registered by the same company. Most translators online like to translate the manga of chobits from raw material to the english format without the english
graphic novels! I think that they just like to do this for fun and see how much they actually can get translated correctly! This manga was originally created(drawn) by a group called CLAMP. Clamp is a group of four women who draw manga, just like other atrists. The four members of clamp are Satsuki Igarashi, Nanase Ohkawa, Mick Nekoi, and Mokona Apapa.
